Bought a Giac Chipped ecu off him and need to know if this will work in my car? It has immobilizer defeat on it along with the stock program.
Same engine codes on both cars pretty much same cars besides body style!

you could always plug it in and see what happens. but from the sound of it you might be mistaken on the engine codes. the new body style have a 2.0t while the older one is a 1.8t. these are totally different animals. unless l am mistaken about your description it looks like this will be of little use to you.
