Hey guys im thinking of leasing a 4 dr 09 gti, loaded, with manual transmission (when l mean loaded l mean loaded, navi, autobahn, sunroof, prem sound)

the msrp on these comes around 29500. and couple monts ago l got quoted for $410 a month for 39 months 12k/yr with 0 out of pocket, first month free.

l was just wondering if there was any gti owners that would like to share their experince.

l also know that the new gti is comin out next year, but l still want the mkv, just need a car soon :)

Also, is it me or does the clutch feel super light :). it feels like my jeeps gas pedal, just longer

l have a 2008 GT l with the DSG transmission. l am in love with my car. All l want to do is drive it. l get upset when l get where l am going because l would rather be driving it. A few times l took a deliberately longer route to work so l could spend more time driving it. It is a fantastic car. Even though u r paying alot, u get an aweful lot of car.
l bought mine last month as a certified pre-owned car. It only had 10k miles on it & l paid 18,300 for it. You might want to think about that too. You get a better warranty than if it was new & u do not take the hit in depreciation plus u get a practically new car.

A little about the car.
the interior is great. You could spend all day driving & not really be worse for the wear. It is very comfortable, the seats r supportive, the controls r easy.
The ride is very controlled & stable, not harsh, but still crisp. Even at 100MPH it feels stable, planted & under control.
The engine is superb. It has all of it is torque available from 1800rpms all the way up to 5k when it starts to taper off a bit.
It just accelerates so effortlessly & it sounds fantastic when u stab the throttle.

l could ramble on for a while :)

l traded in an 2007 Honda Fit for this car & l wish l had done it sooner!
